As a Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and insightful financial information to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth. Your primary focus will be on budgeting, financial analysis, cost allocation, finance business partnering, and financial modelling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the budgeting process by collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and achievable annual operating plans and financial targets.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend identification, and scenario modeling, to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
- Perform cost allocation analyses to identify areas of cost optimization and efficiency improvements across the organization.
- Be the custodian and interpreter of financial data for the business.
- Collaborate with business units to develop and maintain financial models that support business forecasting, investment analysis, and decision-making.
- Establish and maintain effective finance business partnering relationships with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance and support for their strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas of concern.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data and assisting with preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging automation and technology.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis projects and support cross-functional teams as required.

**Required skills and qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the tech/e-commerce industry.
- Demonstratable knowledge of BI tools and ETL capability.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling techniques and tools with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including non-financial teams.
- Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines.

**Desirable skills and qualifications**:

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and driving efficiency.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to contribute to business growth and profitability.
- Cognos TM1, MagicOrange or other similar FP&A Tools
