**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing the Technical Team by being the point of contact between the team and the Managing Director of the company.
- Coordinating technical staff by enforcing company systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards and disciplining staff where appropriate.
- Ensuring that every technician is presentable and has all the tools and documentation needed when going out to customers.
- Actively monitoring the messages on the technical group to ensure smooth flow of work throughout the day.
- Handling any challenges technicians are facing in the field promptly and reporting any unsolved problems to the Managing Director urgently.
- Conducting daily meetings with the Managing Director every morning before the technical team heads out to provide comprehensive updates.
- Monitoring PABX installations, existing lines, and extensions for faults.
- Monitoring CCTV installations and existing cameras for faults.
- Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
- Effectively training all technicians every Friday to ensure that they understand the importance of efficiency, thorough diagnosis, and accurate reporting to avoid costly mistakes.
- Liaising with the Service Controller to ensure that all technicians are adhering to service requirements and attending to calls on time, ordering the correct parts, and performing machine checks as per the checklist.
- Liaising with the stock controller to ensure that all technicians are adhering to the correct procedure for requesting and taking out stock or parts for repairs and maintenance of customer machinery.
- Liaising with service providers where external service is required for a customer to ensure that timely and efficient service is still provided.
- Reporting to work on time daily and recording it in the attendance register.
- Dressing appropriately and looking presentable at all times.
- Sourcing Correct parts and toners at the best possible price.
- Performing the functions of a technician where necessary and adhering to the same standards that the technicians are held to.
- Performing any other duties as required by management from time to time.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a technical management role (15 years +)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of office automation systems
