We have a terrific opportunity for a Mid-weight Content Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing department at a leading financial services company in Cape Town.

As the central point of contact for all Brand and Marketing requests from multiple internal clients, you will ensure efficient collaboration and timely project execution. This position involves coordinating projects, managing traffic flow, and contributing to marketing strategies.

**Responsibilities**:
Day-to-Day: Project /Traffic/Editorial Coordination
- Serve as the central point of contact for all incoming marketing and project requests
- Support the content and earned media strategy by assisting with editorial management of all content pieces
- Coordinate with stakeholders and collaborate with visual communication, digital, earned and content strategists, and freelancers so that they understand what’s required and have the information they need to complete the work to the client’s expectations
- Coordinate project kick-off meetings, status updates, and reviews
- Create project schedules, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely completion
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues
- Maintain a repository of project assets, including all files, templates, and documentation. Ensure that all relevant project information and assets are properly documented and accessible, like file management
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.

Marketing Coordination
- Take a brief from internal clients, assess requirements, ask probing questions to fully understand the client’s expectations and requirements, establish timelines, and utilise available resources
- Use marketing and marketing communication skills to translate the client’s needs and project requirements, and outline what resources are required, highlighting key elements the Brand Marketing team should focus on
- Give internal clients feedback. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure deliverables meet the required standards
- Market the internal agency. Formulate a content marketing plan to promote and market the services and offerings to internal clients, including training and support on brand tools, services and products.

Content Marketing & Administration
- When required: brainstorm, create and curate engaging and relevant content across various channels, including blog posts, articles, and social media updates
- When required: update the website, create direct mailers, upload client lists/make use of direct marketing tools
- When required: arrange interviews and editorial meetings between internal stakeholders and/or journalists
- Monitor trends, online reputation, and media coverage and report results to the wider team and internal stakeholders. This includes monitoring and analysing online mentions, reviews, comments, and discussions related to competitors, the client’s brand, or individuals
- Keep media lists containing media contacts using online monitoring skills.

**Requirements**:

- B.Com Marketing or B.A Marketing Communication, B.Tech Marketing, PR or Media or other appropriate qualification
- 3-5 years of relevant experience (medium weight) in either a project management, client service or traffic management role
- Experience working at an Advertising agency, Content agency, Digital agency, or PR agency - advantageous
- Advantageous but not required: Experience working in Financial Services or B2B
- Client service experience: Exhibiting exceptional client service skills, striving to provide prompt assistance and client satisfaction, while fostering long-term relationships
- Process-driven Project Management: plan, organise, and coordinate tasks, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery of tasks. This includes time management, prioritisation, and communication skills
- Marketing skills: Strategically identifying, understanding, and satisfying client needs through active listening, critical thinking, communication, and customer-centric strategies to drive business growth/objectives
- MS Suite & Reporting skills: Able to analyse and present data clearly and concisely, providing actionable insights.
- Strong communication and English language proficiency: Both written and verbal - clear and articulate

- Strong, professional, tech savvy, able to juggle balls.
