**Main Purpose Statement**
This position will focus on the management of sales of non-CPI insurance products via outbound telemarketing, inbound and rebound channels in line with regulatory and business requirements, as well as managing the recruitment, performance management, and administration associated with these roles. In addition, to manage the retention process of non-CPI insurance products in line with business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
Outbound telemarketing
- Manage the execution of sales in accordance with applicable business and regulatory requirements, whilst adhering to service levels and quality standards
- Ensure that sales are executed in line with approved scripts
- Manage trouble shooting on sales calls with applicable stakeholders
- Ensure that applicable daily, weekly and monthly productivity and quality targets are met
- Provide business with feedback from customers relative to NTU’s, product benefits, product pricing

Inbound calls
- Manage the execution of sales on inbound calls from customers requesting quotations or amendments to existing products in accordance with applicable business and regulatory requirements, whilst adhering to service levels and quality standards
- Ensure that sales are executed in line with approved scripts
- Manage trouble shooting on sales calls with applicable stakeholders
- Ensure that applicable daily, weekly and monthly productivity and quality targets are met

Rebound calls
- Ensure that quotations are provided on non-CPI products to customers who are transferred internally in accordance with applicable business and regulatory requirements, whilst adhering to service levels and quality standards
- Manage the execution of sales in line with approved scripts
- Manage trouble shooting on sales calls with applicable stakeholders
- Ensure that applicable daily, weekly and monthly productivity and quality targets are met

Retention Management
- Manage the retention process of insurance non-CPI products in line with business and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that applicable retention and quality targets are met
- Provide business with feedback from customers relative to reasons for cancellation

User Access Management
- Manage user access for insurance consultants and external stakeholders in line with applicable business procedures
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that QA of insurance sales calls are executed in line with business requirements
- Assist with coaching and mentoring insurance consultants where require
- Execute reporting in line with business requirements

HR Management
- Work with HR relative to the recruitment process to ensure that the team is sufficiently staffed in line with business requirements
- Establish KPI’s for the team and manage the execution thereof in line with business requirements
- Ensure that the Performance Management process is executed in line with business requirements
- Ensure that Learning & Development requirements are adhered to in line with business requirements
- Manage the disciplinary process in line with business requirements

Compliance
- Ensure that all Fit and Proper Requirements are met and maintained, namely:
Mandatory RE5 regulatory examination successfully completed
Product Specific Training completed per product
Class of Business Training completed per product category on FSP license
Continuous Professional Development completed per requirements of BN194 of 2017
Honesty and Integrity maintained as per requirements of BN194 of 2017
Qualifications obtained as per requirements of BN194 of 2017
Adhere to TCF principles in all dealings with customers

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**

NQF 5 Qualification must be an insurance qualification preferably Long Term insurance
FAIS regulatory examination RE5 for representatives essential
DOFA - if previously appointed as a representative, proof that RE5 was completed within 2 years of date of first appointment, as well as proof that the qualification requirement was met within 6 years of date of first appointment
Class of Business Training in Short Term Personal Lines and Long Term Insurance essential
RCS insurance product knowledge essential
3 years Team Leader experience managing insurance inbound/outbound sales where products like Funeral and Personal Accident were sold is essential
Proficient in Multimedia, Outlook, Excel, V+, Enterprise, CAS essential
