**About the role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic planning and execution: Collaborate closely with the GHMC to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Rubicon's broader goals. Regularly review strategy effectiveness, making adjustments to optimize ROI.
- Team leadership and development: Lead the marketing team with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, productivity, and innovation. Mentor team members, supporting their professional growth and ensuring high levels of team engagement and performance.
- Data analysis and decision making: Utilize data and analytics to inform marketing decisions. Analyze performance metrics, market trends, and consumer insights to refine marketing strategies and improve outcomes.
- Cross-departmental collaboration: Ensure marketing strategies are fully integrated with other business areas. Work in partnership with our commercial, product development, and after-sales service teams to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- Creative direction and content oversight: Provide direction for the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and content, ensuring consistency with Rubicon's brand voice and strategic goals. Oversee the creative process and guide the messaging across channels.
- Budget management: Oversee the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across projects to meet financial targets and maximize marketing impact.
- Vendor and stakeholder management: Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders. Negotiate with vendors, oversee agency partnerships, and ensure alignment with strategic marketing objectives.
- Continuous improvement: Advocate for and implement a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Encourage innovative thinking and experimentation with new marketing tactics and tools.
- Reports directly to the Group Head of Marketing and Communications providing regular updates on marketing initiatives, performance metrics, and strategic opportunities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Significant experience in marketing with a proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and campaign execution.
- Strong analytical skills for effective decision-making based on data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration and team leadership.
- Demonstrated ability in creative direction and brand strategy.
- Proficiency in budget management and marketing analytics tools.
- Adaptive to changing market trends and able to integrate new technologies and strategies into marketing plans.
