**Job Description**:
- This position is accountable for implementing the global and local Organizational Design, Organizational Effectiveness & Employee Engagement and Talent Management programs aligned to the determined Functional Strategies and Group HR People Strategies.
**The key responsibilities include**:
- Contribute toward the development and prioritization of the annual, cyclical and ad hoc individual and collective HR People program, initiatives and interventions to deliver the determined and evolving Functional Business/Operational Strategies.
- Participate in designing the tactical HR interventions to support the delivery of the specific Functional HR People programs to ensure alignment with the broader Group HR People programs, initiatives and interventions.
- Continuously monitor the implementation and performance of tactical HR interventions and diagnose the effectiveness of them ensuring appropriate remedial actions are implemented and/or escalated as required.
- Continuously engage and partner with Functional line leadership and their teams to ensure the effective tactical adjustment and implementation of HR interventions.
- Develop and facilitate the tactical delivery of organizational change management programs and support by providing solutions and advice geared towards improving the performance management processes.
- Actively support the execution of the revised and evolving HR Business model, embedding new ways of work and recommending optimization opportunities to improve the interface and support between HR business partnering, HR Advisory and Service Delivery components of the model.
- Facilitate regular talent and capability management reviews with functional leads accountable for the respective Functions’ disciplines, ensuring effective capability assessment, development actions, succession management and corresponding actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with HR Leadership, HR Centers of Specialism and line leadership to implement, monitor and direct business culture and transformation objectives, and assist in developing meaningful people decision support mechanisms.
- Participate in ad hoc projects.
- Support the Corporate Functions HR Business Partner in executing HR activities in South Africa.
- Qualifications
- An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors /Honours degree or equivalent) in a relevant functional discipline, e.g. Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Business Management or equivalent.
- Postgraduate studies would be an advantage.
**Knowledge and experience**:
- Demonstrated experience as a HRBP in a multi-national organization.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational restructuring, design and culture transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated track record in leading organizational change management interventions.
- A good understanding of labor legislation, government, legislative and regulatory frameworks in South Africa.
- Knowledge related to Talent Management, Performance Management, Strategic Workforce Planning and Organizational Design.
