Teacher Posts for the academic year starting 1 January 2024.

The school is seeking to appoint **full-time** and **part-time** teachers of **Science, Mathematics, Afrikaans, Biology, Environmental Management, History **and **Geography**

**Requirements**:

- BA / BSc and PGCE or equivalent qualifications.
- Subject specialism in one or more of the following: Science, Mathematics, Afrikaans, Biology, Environmental Management, History or Geography
- A minimum of five years secondary / FET and/or AS level teaching and assessment experience.
- IGCSE/AS experience is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- SACE registered.
- A police clearance certificate of no more than six months old.
- For biology and sciences:

- Particular emphasis on delivering practical lessons whilst engaging with the scientific method
- Experience managing a laboratory which includes regular stock take and replenishment of materials and chemicals.

Commencement date: 1 January 2024

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bergvliet, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- secondary / FET level teaching and assessment: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- SACE registration & a police clearance certificate (required)
