Dealer Development Manager

Haval is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dealer Development Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Dealer Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimising their dealer network's performance. Reporting to the COO and National Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will include appointing, upgrading, relocating, and closing dealerships. Additionally, you will be responsible for running sales and customer service programs, managing merit club programs, and implementing sales executive incentive schemes.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
Minimum Qualification:
- N.Dip / B-Degree in Business
**Knowledge & Experience**:
- In-depth understanding of dealership operations, including sales, service, and parts
- Strong negotiation skills to conduct performance reviews and manage dealership closures
- Familiarity with legal aspects of dealer sales and service agreements
- Knowledge of arbitration processes
- Analytical skills to create, monitor, and review performance programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, dealing with South African nationals and international employees
- Self-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in facilitating and chairing meetings, as well as capturing and issuing meeting minutes
- Understanding of the automotive industry and various segments
**Special Conditions**:
- Understanding of IAL and OA systems
- Proficiency in MSA Autostats

- Proficiency in Excel, including data flow formulation and advanced skills like pivot tables
**Principle Areas of Accountability**:
- Manage holistic dealer representation for GWM/Haval, Tank, and Ora in Africa
- Ensure dealers are upgraded to the latest CI (Corporate Identity)
- Oversee the dealer scorecard and merit club
- Implement sales review process and sales performance enhancement programs, including closure of dealers for non-performance
- Manage SSI (Sales Satisfaction Index) and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) programs, ensuring dealer compliance and implementing corrective measures for non-compliant dealers
- Maintain strong relationships with dealer networks
- Attend regular management meetings
