Construction/mining Machinery Sales Representative

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales leads and increase revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors.
- Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, including negotiations and contract management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales pipeline, and sales forecasts.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales strategies and tactics, using feedback from customers and best practices in the industry.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of construction or mining machinery, preferably with experience working with leading brand of industry like CAT, BELL, KOMATSU, VOLVO, or HITACHI machinery.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to close deals and manage customer relationships.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of the construction and mining machinery industry and regulatory requirements.

Remuneration:
Basic salary of R30000 - R43000, depending on experience.

Commission based on sales performance.

Other allowances, including travel and fuel expenses.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R43,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
- Yellow machine industry: 3 years (required)

Expected Start Date: 2023/05/01
