Our client in the financial institution is looking for a Corporate Affairs Manager. To lead a team of specialist in internal and external communications, public relations affairs, sustainability, corporate identity, brand value and positioning, overall image, investor relations, marketing. Advising the executives on changing regulations and legislation, governance affecting the company, engage with external and internal stakeholders, and assist with responses to inquiries. Provide strategic leadership to the company's management and its team.

**Duties**
- To develop and implement the organization's corporate affairs strategy.
- Build strategic relations with members and other stakeholders.
- Manage corporate affairs projects/events - CEO roundtable, Conference Planning Committee, Indaba, AGM / Cocktail Function.
- Media Relations - Print Media, Media Queries, Publications.
- Internal Communication - Design, implement, manage and review all channels through which information can easily be disseminated internally to the staff.
- External Communications - Develop and proactively implement an external communications strategy to strengthen this crucial priority, in order to inform correct perceptions of the industry. Manage the website and all company's social media.
- General Departmental Management - Budgeting, performance and staff management, reporting to the Leadership and internal EXCO, and day to day administration controls.

**Education and experience**
- Three-year degree
- Minimum of five years in financial institution
- 5 years management experience
- Proven track record in the field of Corporate Affairs, Stakeholder Management, Communications
- Excellent Command of the English language and business writing (non-negotiable)

**Key Internal Relations**: CEO, GM, Office and HR Manager.

**Key External Relations**: Members, Government Departments, Business Organizations, Financial Industry Bodies, Training Bodies and Intermediary and Consumer Bodies as well as any other relevant stakeholders identified as and when necessary, Web developers, Print and Electronic Media Journalist (including radio, television and online), editors and other relevant stakeholders, Industry media, financial media and consumer media.
