We are seeking **a weekend team leader **who **resides anywhere in South Africa **on a** full-time basis **to join and manage our growing team of English tutors. Our expanding team is focused on demonstrating our core values which foster continuous learning and development.

**Start Date**:

- Immediate upon completion of the recruitment & training process

**Shift Options**:

- Saturday and Sunday 08:30 - 18:00 SAST
- Saturday and Sunday 19:30 - 05:00 SAST

**Minimum requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 120 TEFL/TESOL
- Great command of the English language (accent neutral)
- Tutoring experience is required
- Experience as a team leader is a plus

**Technical Requirements**:

- Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
- Backup power - Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing)
- A stable fibre internet connection - at a minimum of 10 Mbps upload and download speeds
- PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection
- Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera.
- Back-up headset highly recommended
- Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment

**Remuneration**:

- Market-related plus bonuses and incentives

**Location**:

- Anywhere in South Africa - as this is a home-based online teaching role

**TEAM LEADER POC**:
The Team Leader of the POC division's main function pertains but is not limited to;
- Daily client statistics and ratings are recorded and uploaded to the shared drive.
- Forecasting and compiling weekly reports for all clients.
- New trainee interaction, trial classes, and induction.
- Demonstration training.
- Daily scheduling incorporating extra lessons, leave, and absenteeism. Allocating vacant time slots to various departments to assist with training and marketing tasks. Upload a weekly schedule each Friday.
- Monitor cancellations and request replacement classes.
- Completing RTW (Return to work forms), overtime, hours back, leave forms, timesheets, and ERS biometric report for HR (payroll).
- Client liaison.
- Facilitating demonstrations and trial lessons with teachers.
- Rating assessment, reporting, and feedback.
- Coordinating IT setup and functionality.
- Supervise the floor during lessons.
- Coordinating start of shift meetings.
- Follow up on teachers' progress reports and tech reports.
- Daily report snapshot
- General observation and supervision of POC teachers
- Managing staff filing and administration.
- Moral and teambuilding facilitator.
- Adhoc administration needs.
