**About the role**
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our International CoE in South Africa. We are looking for a **Johannesburg** based seasoned marketing and operations expert to work closely with the Global Content Lead in London and the SA Managing Director, to support Client's regional expansion through best-in-class content solutions.

Scoping, budgeting, and managing the client's expectations is expected. Also, responsibility for the financial monitoring of projects, as well as ensuring that projects are scoped accurately, and are profitable is a must. Ultimately, he or she controls that all projects are delivered on time and on budget to the highest quality standards.

The Hub Lead will lead and participate in client proposals and presentations. Ability to anticipate and highlight project risks and develop mitigation plans to the stakeholders in advance is required. He or she will engage with Wunderman Thompson colleagues across all [Global] regions currently involved in servicing the client relationship to evangelizing best practices and ensure that the company delivers the best possible product to the client with the highest level of service and professionalism.

The company operation in South Africa already employs more than 400 marketing, content and data experts. The International CoE has recently being launched with ongoing operations for some of the larges and more ambitious brands. We expect that the person taking this role will be able to ramp-up the operation exponentially and grow the CoE with 100 employees in the next 12 months.That is why, this person should be able to roll-up his/her sleeves to deliver on the existing business while making key hires as the operations grows.

**Responsibilities**:

- Owns and nurtures one or various single or group of key client relationships.
- Provides strategic thinking approach, pursuing win-win initiatives.
- Track project status and ensures high quality of deliverables
- Works as the ultimate scalation point in south africa

**Responsibilities towards the team**:

- People managemement responsibilities include hours’ allocation, career development, training, and leave management
- Should be informed and consulted about key changes affecting the direct reporting staff.
- He or she is responsible for gaining the key information of the project, and is the key decision maker for client projects.
- Selection of subordinate employees and their adaptation,
- Performance evaluation and development of subordinate employees,
**Approach to financial aspects**:

- Is responsible of the profitability of his/her operation,
- Understands not only business importance of their client but also understands the impact of local decisions and issues on a global scale,
- Organization and control of subordinate employees´ work,
- Capable of participating in the income forecast when requested,
- Full responsibility for correctness of the billing process and amounts.

**Background and experience**:

- Practical experience in content production, digital, media or any related content area
- Experience leading teams of about 10 people is required.
- Experience working in an international environment is required
