Any experience with Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, Chilled water and split units would be beneficial.

Key Performance Requirements
- The Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to install and maintain the systems
- Assist with asset transfers and any other facilities management services as requested by the Supervisor
- Assistant will perform relieving duties for the M supervisor in their absence.
- General assistant duties
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when working with HVAC systems, including handling refrigerants properly, following electrical safety protocols, and maintaining proper ventilation and exhaust systems.

Key Capability Requirements

Formal education
- Grade 12 / Matric

Years of Experience
- Minimum 1+ years

Other Requirements
- Good physical health is required. The appointee will be required to undergo OHSA Medical Examinations to be allowed to access to various client sites
- No criminal record
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence and driving ability
- Valid work permit (If applicable)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paarl, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- HVAC Systems: 1 year (preferred)
