Senior Pricing and Data Specialist

Develop & implement parts pricing strategies to meet the company's standards, policies & procedures.
- Ensure that pricing strategies increase the volume and profitability of the company.
- Perform financial evaluations to assess effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Partner with internal departments to assess integrated plus profit maximizing approach to market.
- Conduct special projects such as maintaining the MAN’s online parts ordering system MAN PartsBase.
- Ensure adherence to ICS controls & conduct controls via compliance to rules & processes.
- Assist with parts budget planning (CAMP) & PRxy calculations NSC level.
- Assist with parts budget calculations at dealer level.
- Guide the budget & PRxy process for After Sales.
- Maintain CAMP calculation tools including vehicle park data management.
- Forecast the FY performance on dealer level using the relevant predictions.
- Point out counter measures for a negative budget deviation.
- Oversee Parts Sales and Service Quality Performance Reporting.
- Prepare & send the Parts Sales Performance Report (dealer level) weekly including parts returns.
- Prepare the BRM After Sales submission.
- Run competitor and market analyses & benchmarks, even outside the car/commercial vehicle industry.
- Obtain and evaluate customer & dealer feedback.
- Faciliate Price Research Management.
- Conduct competitive market research, price analysis and mystery shopping on parts.
- Act as an expert with respect to the competition.
- Conduct field research on competitor parts pricing through frequent dealer & customer meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Analytics or Business Administration.

**Skills**:

- Able to complete statistical analysis & solve complex problems through the analysis of data
- Project Management Skills
- Understand the impact of pricing on profit margins
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills
- Work independently though being a team player
- Analytical and strategic skills to identify problems thereafter solve them
- Understanding and interpretation of financial business performance figures
- Quick comprehension and ability to understand complex interrelationships
- Should be able to take initiative, and be prepared to take responsibility for own decisions taken
- Conceptual and creative skills to design and implement tools for market steering
- Conceptual and creative skills to design sales-promotional measures and tools
- Able to create confidence and to manage a cooperative partnership
- Assertive and possess decision making skills
- Excellent negotiating skills

**Experience**:

- Experience working in Parts and/or Pricing Departments in Manufacturing, Automotive or Spare Parts - 5 years
- Knowledge of business informatics & economics - 2 years
- Appropriate professional experience in the automotive After Sales industry - 5 years
