Requirements
- B degree/BTech with a focus on Human Resources / Law
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at a professional level
within human resources / a minimum of three (3) years’ experience
within the labour relations field with an overall working experience of
five (5) years
- Theoretical and practical understanding of labour relations within
the City
- Investigative skills
- A valid code B driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas
- Facilitate effective labour relations
- Ensure the effective and efficient handling of potential and actual
disputes within the City
- Ensure all parties are dealt with fairly, consistently and decisively
- Assist with the development and maintenance of training manuals
for the training of line management
- Provide labour relations training when required to do so
- Support Senior Professional Officers in dispute resolution, conciliation
and arbitration proceedings
- Ensure the implementation of labour relations policies and
procedures,
