**Role purpose**

The Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful integration of business processes, systems, and strategies following mergers, acquisitions, or other significant organizational changes. The primary objective is to ensure a seamless and efficient transition of operations, people, and resources from different entities into a unified and cohesive organization. This role requires strong project management, strategic planning, and collaboration skills to drive successful integration and achieve the organization's goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Integration Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with the organization's overall vision and objectives.
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead cross-functional integration teams and develop detailed project plans to ensure the smooth integration of business units, processes, and systems. Monitor progress and identify potential risks or roadblocks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Organizational Alignment: Work closely with key stakeholders to facilitate the alignment of organizational structures, reporting lines, and job roles to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Cultural Integration: Promote a positive and inclusive company culture during the integration process, ensuring employees from all entities feel valued and engaged.
- Communication and Change Management: Develop and execute a robust communication plan to keep employees informed throughout the integration process. Implement change management strategies to address resistance and foster a smooth transition.
- Process Integration: Assess existing business processes and identify opportunities for streamlining and standardization across the integrated organization.
- Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from different systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility for decision-making purposes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the integration process and develop mitigation plans to minimize negative impacts.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the integration and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and teams to facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices, and efficient workflows across the integrated organization.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards during the integration process.
- Post-Integration Evaluation: Conduct post-integration evaluations to assess the effectiveness of integration efforts and identify areas for continuous improvement.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business integration, strategic planning, project management, or related roles.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Change management expertise, with the ability to navigate and lead through organizational transitions.
- Knowledge of business process optimization and performance improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) and experience with integration tools and software are a plus.
