Lead and coach the factory management team and employees.

- Physical Overview and supervision of production on the shop floor.
- Ensure that Products are produced in accordance to specification and quality standards;
- Production Planning including stock controlling and transport management.
- Management of budgets, investment planning and cost control within your department.
- Monitoring and replenishing all Raw materials and compound within department.
- Implement best practice to achieve improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency.
- Produce and ship on time while maintaining high quality product.
- Inventory Management of raw material and finished goods stock in Departments.
- Possess strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities and consistently meeting deadlines.
- The manager has complete P& L responsibility for department.
- Supervise the product release process to ensure only passed products are dispatched.
- Ensure that all production equipment and infrastructure needed for production are used according to work instructions and that maintenance in carried out on them timeously.

**Required Qualification / Educational background**
Grade 12

Qualification is Production Management or Business Management or equivalent.

Industrial or Mechanical engineering qualification advantageous.

+- 5 Years in similar role.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Excellent communication, numeracy and computer literacy skills.
- Good people management skills and management of staff.
- Identifying problems and implement preventative strategies to minimise risk.
- Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with various teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytic ability and be very detail oriented.
- Being results and deadline driven.
