**Responsibilities**:

- Accounting software system and bookkeeping
- Accurate and efficient bookkeeping process
- Managing the relationship with outsourced contractor who is assisting with Palladium implementation and problem solving
- Effective and efficient running of Palladium ERP system
- Support the Financial Manager with product costings and the pricing of products on the accounting system
- Assist with the processes relating to how all sales transactions, purchasing, transfers, credit notes (etc) are captured accurately

**Financial reporting and analysis**
- Assist with the compilation of AFS working papers
- Assist with the annual budget forecasting process
- Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting process
- Support the sales team with extracting and communicating important information and data.
- Support the Financial Manager with the accurate reconciliations of company bank accounts

**Stock integrity**
- Verification processes that check variances and integrity of raw and finished stock
- Weekly spot checks on actual stock quantities compared to theoretical values

**Corporate governance and compliance**
- Be the appointed person for B-BBEE audit
- ensuring all documentation is gathered and filed correctly

**Financial management**
- Assist with the implementation of all financial management processes and support the Financial Manager with the cost accounting of finished products

**HR**
- Support Finance Manager with managing outsourced Payroll contractor
- Support the accurate and timely bookkeeping and regulatory processing, reporting and submissions relating to employment
- Support the accurate capturing and reporting of leave for all staff

**Requirements**:
**Qualification**
- Degree in Accounting with majors in financial accounting, tax or similar OR Diploma in Advanced Bookkeeping

**Specific work experience required to fulfil the role**
- Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience
- Min 5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with an accounting software programme such as Sage, Pastel SAP, Acumatica and Palladium are advantageous
