**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The incumbent will perform duties related to the control of all raw materials and consumables (receiving from suppliers, stacking and warehousing, issuing to production, receiving from production, cycle counting, stock taking)

**REPORTING TO: Warehouse Manager**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain high level of stock accuracy
- Receipt paper into appropriate bays
- Receipt goods into Abaca using correct delivery note number, quantity and invoice.
- Monitors all stock movements in the warehouse and must know where each reference is stacked in the warehouse, must locate all requested goods within the shortest possible time
- Cycle counts of stock on hand and completing stock sheets
- Monthly and quarterly stock takes of full warehouse
- Accountable for housekeeping and maintaining 5S equivalent standard

**KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS**
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 25kgs

**REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**
- Matric Certificate
- Able to work weekends, overtime, afterhours within short notification period
- Experience in Stores Environment
- Experience in Stock Control and Inventory Management
- Forklift license with attachment (3 tons min)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Faure, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
