Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced **Sales Manager** to join a luxury hospitality group. Sales Manager will have the flexibility to work remotely from Johannesburg.

**Job Summary**: As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing a database of potential clients for a luxury private game reserve, with a strong focus on expanding revenue streams. In addition, you will cross-sell other properties within the broader portfolio, ensuring the continued growth and success of the brand.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Business Development**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including tour operators, travel agents, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs).
- Conduct client visits to promote the game reserve and other properties within the portfolio.
- Research and create a comprehensive Sales Plan aimed at increasing revenue, aligned with the overall Sales and Marketing objectives of the group.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.
- Monitor tender databases and complete RFPs for corporate clients and conferences.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure mutual benefits for both parties.
- Effectively cross-sell additional properties within the portfolio to maximize revenue and market share.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the service offering.

**Account Management**:

- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s needs and leverage this information to retain and grow the business.
- Ensure timely renewal of contracts for existing clients.
- Organize and host site inspections, presentations, training sessions, and familiarization (FAM) trips as needed.
- Manage contracts, implementation, and necessary administrative tasks.
- Participate in relevant trade shows to increase visibility and foster new business relationships.
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

**Administration**:

- Utilize CRM tools or filing systems to maintain and build upon the client database.
- Keep all database and contact lists up to date for both operations and marketing purposes.
- Prepare and monitor reports on competitors, market trends, and sales activities, and provide monthly updates on progress.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
- A recognized Sales Qualification or 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strategic, analytical, and data-driven mindset.
- Experience working with Tour Operators, DMCs, and Event Planners.
- Proficient in MS Office programs, with Opera proficiency being advantageous.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Efficient time management and ability to work independently.
- Ability to interact and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve service and departmental goals.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and the ability to work within set financial constraints.
