As change has swept across the sector in South Africa the socio-economic makeup of agriculture has altered, bringing new entrants from historically disadvantaged backgrounds on to the land, these new farmers, facing the challenges of establishing sustainable agri-businesses across the agricultural value chain, Land Bank has been a commercial lifeline offering appropriately designed financial products that facilitate personal and commercial viability in a sector that is vital to the sustainability of South Africa and its people. Reporting to the Executive: Company Secretary, the focus of this role is to take responsibility for all the company secretarial work for the subsidiary companies of the Land Bank Group and to assist with company secretarial work for the Land Bank Group. The role primarily encompasses the day-to-day administration of Land Bank subsidiaries, and with assisting the Executive: Company Secretary with company secretarial work related to the Group.

JOB SUMMARY

To find innovative commercial restructuring solutions for Corporate Banking clients identified as in need of a proactive intervention to mitigate risk and prevent or minimise losses.

To seek opportunities for new investors with the main objective being resuscitation, ultimately protecting the interests of the Bank.

To give technical expertise using the turnaround methodologies to develop, implement and monitor business rescue plan.

To manage the end-to-end process of identified distressed Corporate Banking clients.

**Key Performance Areas**:
1. Innovative restructuring solutions to Corporate accounts 2. Manage the implementation of the approved restructure of customer accounts 3. Monitoring and Evaluation of restructured customer accounts 4. Provide advisory services to internal and external stakeholders where required. 5. Record Keeping and Reporting**
Preferred Minimum Education and Experience**:
3 years Business / Commercial Qualification (BCOM) 5-8 years Corporate Banking experience which includes: - Corporate Finance/Banking deal structuring - Structured trade and commodity finance - Strong Financial and Credit Analysis and Assessment background - Formulating business turnaround plans - Evaluation of business restructures or workouts - Managing turnaround of distressed clients.**

Microsoft Office Business Acumen Legal procedures Deal structuring Turnarounds, workout and restructuring Credit and Financial Analysis Credit assessment / evaluation**
Additional Requirements**:
Sound knowledge and understanding of the legislation and regulations inclusive of legislative and regulatory bodies within a specific environment - Companies Act - Insolvency Act - National Credit Act - Land Bank Act Travel as and when required. Extended hours as and when required / Time management Willing to work outdoors Valid SA Driver’s License Stress management
