**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
The primary responsibility of the Estate Manager is to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential estate. This includes ensuring the safety, security, and proper maintenance of the estate for the benefit of the residents and Homeowners Association (HOA). Additional duties involve promoting and maintaining the estate's reputation, ensuring the financial stability of the HOA, compliance with laws, statutory regulations, and estate rules, addressing resident concerns, and ensuring all developments or improvements align with regulations and enhance the estate's value. These responsibilities fall within the guidelines established by the Board of Directors and sub-committees as outlined in the formal job description.

**Education and Experience**:

- 2 yrs experience in Residential Estate Management

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of bookkeeping in order to run a petty cash system to a budget and assist the directors in preparing the annual budget
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, stakeholders, and service providers
- Project management skills to oversee maintenance, construction, and improvement projects within the estate
- Familiarity with legal and governance aspects of community schemes, such as sectional title schemes or homeowners' associations
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe and compliant estate environment
- Experience in managing residential estates, preferably with a track record of successful estate management and resident satisfaction

**Skills**:

- Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge is necessary.
- Mediation skills and conflict resolution abilities are essential for handling resident disputes
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required
