We are looking for that special person who knows what it takes to run a luxury private residence. Someone who is used to 5* service at all times and understands the importance of perfection. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- The art of Butler Service
- Roles/Values/Body Language and Butlers Demeanor
- The multifaceted role of the butler, both traditional and modern Valet Butler
- Personal Assistant duties
- Interviewing skills
- Household management and security
- Valet skills including packing of suitcases, concierge etc.
- Dining room
- laying of tables, dining diplomats and important guests, the art of table service, the ballet of service, setting the stage, event planning, tray service.
- Purchasing, storage and inventories of stock.
- Food and beverage service, preparing meals and beverages. Oversea menu design at the residence.
- Flowers and table arrangements
- Cigars, their handling, and storage
- Cleaning of silver, glass, and fine artifacts
- Liaison with other household and estate staff
- Management and overseeing of the security in respect of the residence;
- Management of the staff at the residence
- Management of the cash flow of the residence;
- Management of the upkeep of the residence;
- Preparation of the monthly reconciliation of stock at the residence, the reconciliation document must be presented as a bound to the Group;
- Preparation and presentation of an attendance register in respect of the staff at the residence as well as preparation of the minutes of all staff meetings;
- All administrative work required for effective management of the residence such as stocktake, recons, inventories, planning of menus, shopping for necessities, staff rosters, site inspections, building project supervisor, leave cycles, staff training;
- Styling and décor of the residence;
- Preparation of the stock inventory at the residence;
- Accepting and welcoming guests;
- Ensuring that the residence is presentable at all times
