Discovery Health People (DHP) is split into 3 smaller teams namely: HR, Training Operations and Learning and Development. The HR team is responsible for managing all aspects in the employee lifecycle. These aspects include but are not limited to recruitment, performance management, tracking and maintaining of employee records and providing HR support to the various business units that they support. The learning and development team designs and develops interactive learning programs / training initiatives, using blended learning, for all of Discovery Health. These programs aim to provide staff with the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles in line with business requirements. The training operations team works closely with and supports the learning and development team. Some of their responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating training programs, scheduling, and coordinating simulation training classes, maintaining of training records and sending out training reports. Together, DHP works and aligns to ensure that maximum service excellence and value is delivered to all their stakeholders and to Discovery Health.

**Key Purpose**-
**Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to**
- Assist and liaise with recruiters regarding the completion of administrative recruitment processes.
- Publish job advertisements on the recruitment portal
- Source and screen applicants on the recruitment portal
- Facilitate and arrange interviews to be conducted in person, via phone or Video conference.
- Booking and following up on psychometric assessments
- Complete onboarding for new employees, contractors and Contingent workers
- Attend meetings as required to provide updates on recruitment progress.
- Report on new recruitment and open requisitions per BU.
- Discuss salary expectations and draw up dummy payslips
- Ordering equipment for new employees
- Booking new employees on Induction and request access cards
- Responsible for end-to-end recruitment of learnerships and internships
- Liaise with payroll to ensure all new employees are paid on time
- Assist with any ad-hoc requests within the HR value chain

**Education and Experience**
- Matric/Grade 12
- Human Resources/ Industrial Psychology qualification or similar (advantageous)
- Must have least 2 years working experience in a corporate environment as a Recruitment/ HR administrator.
- Knowledge and understanding of Success Factor
- SmartPeople (Advantageous)
