As a Sales Agent, you will be expected to develop new business, manage client accounts, and ensure revenue growth. You will be dealing with prospective and current customers to understand their requirements and offer them solutions that meet their objectives. Your role is quite crucial in maintaining good client relationships and achieving sales targets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Lead Generation and Prospecting**:
Find and pre-qualify potential leads through various avenues, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
**Client Engagement**:
Develop a good rapport with clients by building solid relationships to understand their needs and present them with customized solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations before prospective clients.
**Sales Process Management**:
Manage the full cycle of sales, inclusive of initial contact to closing deals.
Prepare and present sales proposals; negotiate terms and conditions.
Follow up with the clients to ensure satisfaction of service and resolve any issues.
**Target Achievement**:
Meet or beat sales targets and performance metrics accordingly. Aside from this, develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and attain revenue objectives. Reporting and Administration:
Record information on the sales activities, customer interactions, and/or the details of the transactions entered into CRM systems. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management. Collaboration:
Closely interact with the marketing department to ensure that the sales effort is aligned with the running marketing campaigns. Liaise with other departments like customer service and product development to ensure alignment and smooth customer interactions. Market Knowledge:
Follow industry trends and market conditions and competitor activities.
Product and sales technique training constant.

**Qualifications**:
Knowledge of the principles of sales and customer service practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Results-oriented with a history of achieving/exceeding sales goals.
South African Identification or Work Asylum for foreign nationals.
High school diploma or equivalent.
**Preferred Skills**:
Additional sales training or certifications.
