**Purpose of the Job**

To capture membership information on the Council’s database and to respond to related queries in order to contribute to the data maintenance and improvement of the Council’s representivity.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct annual membership verification process for various projects and provide reports
- Ensuring that membership and subscription fees are collected and paid to the correct parties and monthly schedules are provided to the relevant unions within stipulated timeframes
- Ensure that the database used for the capturing of member’s data is up to date and contains correct and reliable information
- Receive membership cancellations, validate and update member’s data accordingly
- Provide Trade Unions with their subscription monthly reports
- Handle queries with regards to membership administration and ensure Membership Policy adherence.
- Ensuring that all membership queries are resolved timeously, etc.

**REMENERATION GRADE: B4**

**Job Requirements and Knowledge**:

- Computer knowledge MS Office (Word & Excel)
- Timeous capturing of membership information on the database
- Ability to respond and resolve stakeholders queries
- Filing of all documentation and ensure that information is easily retrievable
- Sense of urgency to follow up on outstanding requests
- Perform ad hoc tasks as and when assigned by the Supervisor

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- He/she should have background knowledge in Labour Relations legislation and procedures, with at least 3 years working experience in a Finance environment while Collective Bargaining experience will be and added advantage.
