MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Large custom data centre client deployments, ranging from hyperscale to colocation deployments to DC hall deployments.
- Coordinate the Technical Fit
- out (TFO) works which follows on from practical completion being achieved by contractors
- Project Manage teams to coordinate and manage procurement, logistics and budgets
- Supply chain coordination, working with 3rd party vendors to ensure timeous delivery and quality
- Project managing live sites and coordinating with Operational Staff and Data Centre Managers
- Project Manage external consulting teams designing, engineering and facilitating the commissioning of Technical Fit-outs
- Risk Management and reporting
- Managing subordinates
- Lead on delegated projects for all internal and external stakeholders with the project team
- Project Manage the technical experts or functional owners in terms of; decision making, resolving issues and mitigating risk on delivery.
- Ensure project scope, outcomes and requirements are; defined, understood, accounted for by all stakeholders and delivered according to agreed standards
- Detailed analysis of contractual requirements, to ensure all obligations are met as project outcomes
- Review and understand the client standards, technical specifications and quality requirements and ensure project delivery occurs within the agreed project timeframes, that Operations and Infrastructure Departments have the necessary assets and systems in place to allow them to assume operational responsibility at go-live, based on agreed processes, client requirements the technology
- Project Manage Teraco direct suppliers and their subcontractors to establish project plans and execute in-line with agreed project timelines and project quality
- Identify project risks, manage risks through a risk and issues register in order to mitigate the same
- Conduct Daily Activity Briefings (DAB) project meetings with stakeholders, and document methodologies, decisions and agreed actions
- Retain a document repository for the project, based on the project scope, Teraco and client requirements
- Communicate and managed the overall budget according to timescales of projects
- Ensure service orders and purchase orders are raised and issued to the relevant vendors according to requirements of project timescales
- Ensure that orders are tracked in terms of production, factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), shipping, customs clearance, delivery to site inclusive of Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Project Management qualification / certification preferred i.e., PMI PMP, Prince, MCIOB, SACPCMP
- Preferred Bsc (Construction, Project Management (Built Environment), Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Data Centre Certified Profession / Practitioner would be advantageous
- Microsoft Projects experience
- 5 years relevant project management experience
- Knowledge of commissioning electrical, mechanical and BMS Integrated System Test
- Knowledge of following but not limited to:

- Generator deployment
- UPS deployment
- Low Voltage (LV) /Medium Voltage MLV, AC7DC installations and commissioning
- Fire suppression systems
- Cooling (HVAC) systems, chilled water systems
- Biometric and CCTV Security Solutions
- Networking and switching
- Health, Safety and Environmental
