Procurement Intern

**About Us**:
Tsebo Facilities Solution is looking for the procurement Intern will gain workplace experience from performing and being exposed to tasks that fall within the scope of the procurement whilst being exposed to creating basic purchasing functions under supervision. They will work under the guidance of an experienced Procurement Officer.
This person would be exposed to the various department in order to gain insight on the collaborative work required within the division. The second level exposure would be to the Business in stages to align with the business support aspects of the role and understand where the role fits within the organisation.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Assist with Procurement team with ensure that all new sub contract adoptions are processed according to current policy and process and all sub-contractors are screened and adopted accordingly
- Respond timeously and efficiently to all reasonable requests by Managers.
- All documentation is checked for completeness and filed accurately per current requirement.
- Maintain and update supplier details on systems as instructed by Managers and as per current Policy and process.
- Actively manage supplier data
- Assist with scheduling and managing training of new procurement systems implementation.
- Being participative and being part of the team
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Proficient user of MS Office Excel and Word
- Time Management and Planning skills
- Good communication skills
- Negotiating skills
- Good knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics or Finance principles
- “Procure to Pay” process knowledge as relates to Procurement through to Finance

**Qualifications**:
- Minimum Grade 12
- Procurement or Supply Chain Qualification an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role. Working knowledge of Strategic Sourcing, and Category Management principles.
