Burnt was founded in the summer of 2018 by Pierre & Andriana Cronje. The couple decided to merge their love for fitness and fashion with a range of high-quality performance activewear that’s both functional and fashionable and aimed exclusively at those who live and love an active lifestyle.
The Burnt team has grown exponentially over the past couple of years, into a young, dynamic and vibrant group of people with a shared goal and vision for the brand
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
- Welcome and greet customers.
- Informing customers about sales, promotions, and policies.
- Recommend and display the items to the customers according to their taste and style.
- Maintain the quality of services provided to the customers.
- Maintain friendly and good relations with the customers.
- Manage point-of-sale processes.
- Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments.
- Keep up to date with product information.
- Accurately describe product features and benefits.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Deal with complaints in a patient and helpful manner.
- Provide information and other services such as handling returns of merchandise.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain a fully stocked store.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store.
- Receiving, unpacking, and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors.
- Arranging and labeling goods in the display shelves.
- Pricing, labeling, and barcoding when needed.
**Skills and Requirements**
- Proven working experience in retail sales.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Commercial awareness.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service focus.
- Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality.
- Basic administration skills.
- Good physical endurance.
- Must be based in Stellenbosch
- Own transport to the store is required.
