**Join Our Team as a**Logistics Operations Manager**

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Exxaro. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute strategic logístical plans that optimize the flow of commodities to our diverse customer base, ensuring maximum product evacuation across all routes to market.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations, managing the safe and efficient movement of goods via road and rail, and delivering exceptional, compliant service to our clients and stakeholders. You will identify key opportunities for process improvements, implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall service delivery.

As a leader, you will guide the Logistics Operations teams to execute Exxaro’s strategic objectives, fostering a culture of safety, compliance, ownership, and accountability. You will be pivotal in driving the company’s growth and revenue ambitions while ensuring that operational excellence remains at the forefront of every action taken.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- BCom (Hons) Logistics (Essential/Minimum or)
- BCom (Hons) Relevant (Essential/Minimum)
- Management Development Programme (Essential/Minimum)

**EXPERIENCE**:
8-10 years Relevant Marketing, Operational and Commercial Logistics experience. Sound understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety and the Mine Health and Safety Acts and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment. (Essential/Minimum) Management

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- MHS Act Regulation 2.9.2 (Recommended/Desirable)
- OHS Act: Regulation 16(2) (Recommended/Desirable)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute logístical strategies and plans to integrate and optimise the flow of commodities to various customers
- To ensure that Exxaro executes the maximum product evacuation through all routes to market.
- To oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement by road or of trains and cargo across the rail network, providing exceptional, compliant service to our clients and stakeholders.
- To identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- To lead the Logistics Operations teams towards the successful delivery of its strategy, creating an environment conducive to delivering Exxaro’s growth and revenue ambitions while fostering a culture of safety, compliance, ownership, and accountability.
