**SUMMARY**:
Our client, a well-established market leader within the Properties industry, seeks a strategic Head of People to guide and lead the implementation and management of their People Strategy. The successful applicant will assume full responsibility for the onboarding, recruitment, coaching and development, rewards and recognition of their people. This includes the packaging and execution of remuneration structures, as well as the implementation of industry BEE and transformation strategies. This position ultimately exists to ensure that the company has the right leader to implement a People Strategy that will support the achievement of the Company objectives.
**POSITION INFO**:
**Objectives**:
- Determine the People Strategy, staffing and resources within approved budgets
- Design and execute a group onboarding programme
- Implement ongoing recruitment strategies
- Explore strategic recruitment avenues
- Create and drive an eLearning / hybrid training environment adapted for the sales force
- Oversee and structure remuneration packages and performance management processes
- Create, manage and implement group long-service, performance rewards and recognition programmes
- Maintain an effective working relationship with the Executive Board, all divisional heads and franchise owners to ensure effective coordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives
- Assist the CEO in the implementation of Company strategy across the group
- Act as the companys main advisory on all issues relating to human capital and keep abreast of trends to ensure the companys competitive advantage
- Actively coordinate the BEE compliance and transformation of the group, as required by the real estate industry regulations
- Manage the strategic HR compliance requirements of the company
***Minimum requirements**:
- A degree and or relevant professional qualifications
- 10+ years experience in people management, organisational learning, strategic organisational people strategies and key recruitment strategies
- Professional mastery of the spectrum of Human Resource practices in support of a business strategy
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Demonstrated experience in leading organisational change
- Experience in residential property will be an advantage
**Required skills and knowledge**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, influencing and inter-personal skills, require to cooperate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. (Executive board, employees, suppliers, strategic business partners, etc.)
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Excellent planning, organisational and execution skills.
- Strong knowledge of strategy frameworks.
- Strong understanding of organisational behaviour and design
- Experience in managing and implementing the training and development requirements of an organisation
- Experience in onboarding, recruitment and rewards and recognition programmes
