We are looking Information Security Officer (ISO) to be accountable for ensuring appropriate controls are in place for the security of information assets. The ISO will be the centre of competence for Information Security,
providing an advisory services role and acting as the focal point for security compliance-related activities and
responsibilities.

**Requirements**:

- BSc/BA in Computer Science or Information Security or BCom Informatics Honours Degree Would be an advantage.
- A certification in information security e.g., CISA certification
- Information Security Risk and Security governance certification or course e.g., CISSP, CISM or related certification.
- At least 3 to 5 years’ previous information security and governance related work experience
- Excellent knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST
- Excellent knowledge of best practices to prevent a wide range of security threats.
- Knowledge of patch management, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (e.g., SCCM, SIEM).
- Knowledge and experience of Information Security Risk and Security governance CCNA, CISSP, CISM or related certification is a definite plus.
- Experience dealing with Audits.
- Strong process methods
- Excellent knowledge of working/Implementing with POPI.

Remuneration is negotiable determined by experience.

**Salary**: R45,000.00 - R55,000.00 per month
