**Roles and responsibilities**:
- Implement and coordinate various HR programs and processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee retention, and employee relations.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations and facilitating the completion of paperwork.
- Manage the offboarding process for leaving employees/ resources, including conducting exit interviews, and facilitating the completion of paperwork.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data integrity.
- Support employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and participate in employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee retention, including conducting stay interviews, analysing turnover data, and recommending initiatives to improve employee engagement and job satisfaction.
- Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, evaluations, feedback sessions, and development planning, to support employee growth and organisational effectiveness.
- Facilitate effective internal and external employee communications by developing and implementing communication strategies, creating engaging content for newsletters or announcements, and ensuring consistent messaging to enhance employee engagement and strengthen external relationships.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit related inquiries.
- Lead change management initiatives within HR, including supporting organisational transitions, communicating change objectives, facilitating training sessions, and promoting employee readiness to ensure smooth adoption of new policies, procedures, or systems.
- Assist with training and development programs for employees.
- Support the designated Labour Attorneys with the preparation and representation of CCMA requirements during conciliations and/or arbitrations.
- Support with team infrastructure, including certain key suppliers and partners.
- Stay updated with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client workforce planning (project and non-project basis), inquiries, issues, and strategic discussions.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market research and networking strategies to generate leads, expand client base, and drive sales growth.
**Experience and qualifications**:
- Bachelors degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years proven working experience as an HR Officer, HR Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with HRIS software and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
