Our client, a premium brand in the motor industry is looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of a maintenance officer.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Grade 12 / Matric
- Any relevant technical diploma, certificate, or degree in relevant fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline will be an advantage.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong technical skills in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the maintenance field.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues, contractors, and supervisors.
- Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance or equipment problems.
- Organizational skills to manage tasks, prioritize work, and maintain documentation.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Basic computer skills for using maintenance management software and communication tools.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance work, preferably in a similar industry or related field.
- Experience with preventive maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and techniques.

**Additional Requirements**:

- A valid driver's license may be required for roles that involve traveling between different sites or locations.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, as maintenance work often involves lifting, carrying, and working with tools and equipment.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours or shifts (weekends etc.)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

License/Certification:
