Skilled Fitter

We are looking for a skilled & experienced fitter & turner. You must be smart, capable, honest, professional, meticulous, respectable to authority, hardworking & energetic. You will be required to assemble carts, fault find, and do custom modifications.

Ability to problem solve, pay fine attention to detail & get the job done on time are essential. We are looking for someone who is willing to improve daily, learn the tasks and skills required, work on one's own, take on tasks with enthusiasm and have a decent work ethic.

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric Certificate or higher qualification
- Qualified fitter & turner
- Experience as a fitter & turner
- Experience within a workshop environment
- Ability to work with tools, power tools, and pneumatics
- Honesty & Integrity
- Ability to work under pressure
- Assembly of Golf Carts with a razor fine attention to detail. With a focus on the wiring of the batteries and other electronic accessories.
- Standard & Custom modifications on Golf Carts.
- Service & maintenance on golf carts &/or forklifts.
- Controlling of workflow. Ensuring production schedules are met.
- Quality checks on own work. Maintaining all relevant checklists and records relative to modifications and assemblies.
- Fault finding on used golf carts as well as resolving the faults once found.
- Ensuring workshop is clean & tidy.
- Ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills.

Additional qualifications are an advantage

Drivers License is an advantage

**Job Types**: Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
