Corporate Facilities Manager Operations
Cape Town North-Western Cape
Our client is seeking a Corporate Facilities Manager with relevant facilities management qualifications and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience to oversee physical security, manage the company's fleet, procure office supplies, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with suitable working conditions for employees. The Facilities Manager will facilitate cross-functional collaboration and prioritize energy efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities will include
- Manage the physical security for all the offices by putting in place effective controls and resources in order to ensure the security and protection of the assets of the organisation
- Plan and organise the facilities' maintenance operations on a timely basis in order to ensure smooth running of the facilities at all times
- Develop, manage and oversee the Corporate Health and Safety aspects of the business to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Oversee the Fleet Management in order to ensure the same is in line with the policy and procedures
- Customer and Stakeholder Management by engaging and consulting with all stakeholders to determine timelines for projects and reporting requirements
- Manage the national day-to-day facilities and operations of the organisation by conducting an annual operational assessment of overall business requirements on a national basis. You will also manage and implement a detailed facilities project plan to ensure full compliance with Health and Safety and overall organisational standards
- Your daily interaction with internal departments would include: Operational needs, procurement of goods and administrative functions.
- Daily interaction with external services would include: Service delivery, SLAs, pricing and quotations.
Scope of work
- Office needs and consumables/logistics have increased and are in demand
- Monitor and advise on maintenance/procurement and consumable needs at various regions
- Maintenance & renegotiation of national leases
- Ensuring that the workspace meets the needs of employees by managing all of the required services in order to ensure optimisation of the workspace
- Oversee front desk service delivery, cleaning ladies, health & safety, facilities (security & maintenance)
