**Role Profile and Person Specification**

**Primary Objectives**

To work closely with business leaders and line managers to diagnose people priorities, provide HR guidance, resolve employee relations issues, and work with management to improve work relationships and productivity whilst complying with all labour legislation.

**Purpose of the Role**

Providing day-to-day and strategic people/HR support to all our departments. Delivering an outstanding employee and stakeholder experience, balancing the needs of the business whilst being fair to our employees to drive employee engagement and retention.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**

**Employee Onboarding**
- Conduct CX International and HR Induction with all new employees that enter the business.
- Arrange with Facilities for employee access cards to be issued.
- Ensure all Documents are completed and signed accordingly.
- Gather and submit all employee information and documentation and hand to HR Admin for capturing.

**HR Policies and Procedures**
- Advise and educate managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure roll out of all new policies and procedures with leaders.

**Employee Relations (IR)**
- Advise and coach management and employees on disciplinary sanctions and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to all leaders in selecting disciplinary charges and preparing the relevant documentation.
- Assist Team leader with preparing the DE Pack (checking initiator notes and disciplinary packs)
- Coordinate, attend and act as an HR Representative in all disciplinary hearings.
- Prepare all Evidence and case information for CCMA matters.
- Investigate grievances and assist leaders with the outcome of the grievance.

**Performance Improvement and Management**
- Support and monitor probation review process with new starters in collaboration with the leaders.
- Manage poor performance process in accordance with CX International Policy and Procedures
- Coach and advise managers and employees on performance improvement processes and practices.

**Training and Development**
- Educate and support leaders on changes to legislation, policies, and procedures.

**Employee Wellness**
- Implement and monitor employee engagement within the department.
- Implement, monitor, and coordinate engagement themes within the department.
- Provide support, guidance, and assistance to all employees on engagement within the department.

**Exit Procedures**
- Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the business.
- Ensure that all exit documents are completed and monitor the exit procedure.
- Ensure that all company assets are returned when the employee exits the company - Access Card, Laptop, Cell phone, etc.

**Relationship Building**
- Build strong relationships with the leadership teams.

**Reporting**
- Tracking of all disciplinary actions, disciplinary hearings, grievances, sickness & absence and probation processes

**Employee Floor Support**
- Staff engagement with employees daily

**ONBOARDING AND EXIT SUPPORT**
- Ensure that all new starters have profiles created on the Biometric system - on the first day that they commence employment and that pictures are taken for building Access Cards
- Completes the contract of employment and prepares all induction packs for new starters.
- Ensures that the paperwork of the new starters is completed in full and takes it to payroll for processing.
- Completes On-Boarding stats (including the graph) for months 1 and 3.
- Ensures that the resignation letter and other termination documents are given to payroll for processing.
- Exit interview calls to the employee post-exit.
- Ensure that all company assets are returned when the employee exits company - Access Card, Laptop, Cell phone, etc.
