Delegate Sales Executive

Your position would be a delegate sales executive specialising in the IT media sector where you will be responsible for generating delegate revenue by building strong client relationships and new business contacts.
Your role will focus on the sale of delegate seats for IT events in South Africa and Africa to IT business professionals and will include the following duties and responsibilities:
Making cold and warm sales calls to IT professionals from major blue chip companies in South Africa and Africa in order to confirm their attendance at physical conferences, virtual conferences and webinars
Managing the sales process and negotiating with the client in order to close the sale
**Meeting set sales targets per event Requirements**:
At least two years’ experience in B2B conference or training course delegate sales
A strong sense of customer service and client management
Ability to communicate our unique value proposition of our events to all audiences
Top-notch all-round communicator and negotiator with the natural ability to seek out decision-makers within organisations
Persistent, persuasive, intelligent without losing sight of personal integrity
A natural problem solver with a creative yet organised approach
Deadline driven with a flexible can-do attitude
Attention to detail and accuracy
Highly effective at managing a number of projects at the same time
**Tech savvy and computer literate Experience**:
Outbound telesales
Experience selling event delegate passes Personal skills/attributes:
