Bookkeeper / Office Manager

Our client a Retail Company based in **Somerset West** has a position available for a _**Qualified Accountant / Bookkeeper **_with a relevant Diploma or Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the retail industry.
**Minimum requirements**:
- Bookkeeping Diploma / Accounting Degree required
- **Minimum 2 years**’ Accounting/Bookkeeping **experience** in the **Retail Industry required**:
- **Experience with accounting software** such as Pastel, Xero, Sage Pastel Online, Quickbooks is required
- Knowledge of Erply Accounting Package would be advantageous
- **Working knowledge of Inventory/Stock systems** essential
- **SARS e-filing experience** and statutory requirements essential
- **Payroll experience essential**:
- Ability to perform **monthly financial analysis** on transactions, preparing **management reports**, **reconciliation reports**, and **budgets** required
**Responsibilities**:
- Full accounting function
- Processing daily transactions
- Bank, creditors and debtors reconciliations
- Petty cash
- Payroll
- SARS statutory returns and e-filing
- Prepare management reports
- Reconciliation reports
- Budgets
- Daily cash-up function, reconciliations and reports
- Monthly financial analysis on transactions
- Inventory and stock control function
