Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. The Assistant F&B Manager will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishments and banquet services, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- 1. Operations Management:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets including restaurants, bars and other facilities.
- Monitor service standards, quality control, and guest satisfaction to uphold the hotel's reputation for excellence.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- 2. Staff Supervision and Training:
- Supervise and mentor F&B staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high levels of professionalism and efficiency.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and product knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in scheduling and staffing to meet operational requirements while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- 3. Guest Relations:
- Interact with guests to ensure their needs and preferences are met, resolving any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Foster positive relationships with regular patrons and guests, promoting loyalty and repeat business.
- 4. Financial Management:
- Assist in budget planning and cost control measures to optimize revenue and minimize expenses.
- Monitor inventory levels and food/beverage costs, implementing strategies to improve profitability without compromising quality.
- Generate sales reports, analyze financial data, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- 5. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all F&B areas, taking corrective action as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Familiarity with F&B software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
