**The TES employee(s) will be responsible for the following function / work**

1. Engagement with line departments to extract information to populate strategic workforce plans (SWPs)

2. Review and interpretation of department SDBIPs and business plans in support of SWP content development

3. Compilation of strategic workforce plan templates

4.Review of completed SWPs

5. Interpretation of draft and completed SWPs to define strategies for attraction, development, retention an succession planning

6. Compilation of succession plans through desktop analysis, successor pool development and 9-box grid placement

7. Development of person to profile match-ups and implementation support for succession plans with HRBPs and line management

8. Talent metrics and trends reporting

**The TES employee(s) must meet the following requirements**:
**Qualification**: Honours or preferably masters degree in HRM / Org Psychology

**Experience**:At least 8 years or more in human capital management experience with an emphasis on talent management, workforce planning, succession planning and talent metrices and reporting on talent trends.

**Other skills /requirements (Specify)**

1. Use of HR Management systems (City uses SAP)

2. Advanced level skills in MsExcel, MSWord, MSPowerpoint

3. Interpersonal skills, project management skills, planning and organising, attention to detail, interpretive and consequential thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, action orientation
