Management (IPM)
**Requirements**:

- An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification

(B Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma).
- Minimum 5 to 8 years relevant experience within a

Performance Management environment.
- Valid Drivers' licence
- Microsoft Office Applications and SAP

Key Performance Areas
- Applies a body of professional knowledge to develop and

implement a full range of IPM practices through data
analysis, management report development and project
planning for rollouts.
- Conduct research on technological development,

benchmarking and performance improvement.
- Review and compile IPM Policy or System and Procedure

in line with changes to staff Regulations and Legislation.
- Conduct statistical analysis and provide interpretation of

the performance management outcomes for informed
decision making by relevant stakeholders.
- Conducting investigations and advising Forensic Audit and

Industrial Relations on IPM matters relating to grievances
or disputes.
- Reporting on overall performance results for the

performance score validation process.
- Project manages medium projects to ensure new IPM

systems and developments are monitored and processed.
- Provide a supportive information data warehousing service

to the Directorates within the City relating to IPM.
- Develop and implement monitoring and processing

mechanisms and tools to enable line management to
gauge implementation strategies and projects.
- Attend to correspondence and enquiries with regard to

IPM policies and systems.
- Provide professional advisory service to line on individual

Performance Management.
