Pricing Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic person to join our team and to be an understudy of our current pricing specialist.
A financial qualification will be advantageous.
**The Job Description**:
The core focus is on acquiring government and local municipality tender business through the submission of keenly priced tenders for the procurement of vehicle fleets required by either way of a Full Maintenance Lease and Financial Lease Product or the Normal Supply and Delivery of Vehicles and Yellow Plant together with any ancillary equipment and additional Fleet Management Services specified in the tender documents.
**Main Duties and Main Responsibilities**:
Read and understand the scope, specification and requirements of the tender document and qualify the tender in terms of:
- Size of fleet
- Vehicle mix
- Submission date
- Pricing validity period required
- Provide FML/Leasing/Installment Sale quotations upon request.
- Calculate Residual Values, Maintenance Rates, Tire CPK Rates.
- Ensure deal profitability (ROI) while minimizing risk.
- Ensure Fleet Management Best Practice IRO product offerings.
- Request pricing from OEM’s or Dealers depending on size of fleet if OEM assistance will be available or qualifies for RT57 Pricing
- OEM Full Maintenance Plans to be included in quotations if specified
- Check if pricing and vehicles required are still current or if the model is on run out and introduction of newmodels imminent
- Set up pricing spreadsheet and populate with all relevant information in terms of contract parameters, vehicle model list and numbers required, ancillary equipment/extras, insert formulas (AFCR/RV/TERM) to calculate final pricing, including gross profit margins for Afrirent
- Set out the Clarification Notes to Pricing once pricing completed
- Keeping up to date with new developments in the industry (new vehicle)
- Attending Vehicle launces with OEMs
- Assist with Rent to Own Pricing
- Renewal of Compliance documents
- Check with CFO how procurement is going to be funded (Own funding or Bank)
- Check stock availability/alternatives with suppliers

- Once vehicles available for delivery, hand over to Key Account Manager
- Submit and explain pricing structure to Finance for monthly invoicing
**Skills**:
- Some Motor Industry Dealer Retail Sales/OEM Wholesale Experience (advantegeous).
- Mathematical Proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accurate financial and number calculations
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Organized and able to meet deadlines and Tender submissions
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team & independently
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally
- Thoroughness and reliability
- Follow instructions
- Positive attitude and excellent attendance record
- Flexibility to adapt to changes
**Qualifications**:
- **Gr.12 (required)**:
- Diploma/Degree in Cost and Management Accounting / Actuarial Sciences or similiar would be advantageous.
**Minimum**:
- Own vehicle and Driver's Licence (Advantageous)
- Understanding of Financial Documents
- Experience in Vehicle industry and vehicle pricing
- Abilities to interact with Clients
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tender submission deadlines.
