**_ Position Purpose:_**
- Ensure reviews, audits and initiatives are developed, executed and completed timeously to enable the identification of

PFMA violations to

ensure that TPT complies with the Regulations and standards of the PFMA Act.
- Ensure accurate identification, reporting and monitoring of the PFMA violations and associated reports and registers to

ensure that TPT
- complies with the Regulations and standards of the PFMA Act.

**_ Position outputs:_**

Assurance
- Review and monitor compliance with PFMA and other applicable legislation within the Transnet Group (All Operating

Divisions).
- Review of PFMA Control Compliance Plan, PFMA Control Framework and Control Self-Assessment to ensure controls are

in place to address
- PFMA risks and legislative requirements across Transnet.
- Develop and implement PFMA initiatives, proactively identify PFMA reportable matters across Transnet and ensure

mechanisms are in
- place to reduce incidents/occurrences and report PFMA violations timeously.
- Develop, manage and implement annual plan for reviews and audits to be completed across multiple functional areas to

provide assurance on
- PFMA compliance.
- Design testing approach and relevant documentation to enable reviews and audits to be completed to provide assurance on

PFMA
- compliance.
- Proactively monitor PFMA reportable matters and track action plans and resolutions are resolved by the due dates specified
- Collaborate with functional departments e.g. SCM, Legal, and HR to ensure closure of PFMA reportable items in terms of

PFMA.
- Analyse SAP data to identify risk-based focus areas and red flags to assess transactional data to test for compliance to

PFMA
- Co-ordinate reviews with stakeholders across TPT to ensure collaboration for ease of execution and successful completion

of PFMA reviews
- and audits.
- Design audit programmes, work papers and audit reports in line with International Internal Auditing (IIA) standards.
- Supervise and direct the teams completing the audits and reviews to ensure timeous completion and execution in terms of

IIA standards.
- Conduct close out meeting with Senior and Executive Management to agree on findings, recommendations and action

plans that will improve
- the PFMA control environment
- Proactively follow up on PFMA reportable matters to identify root causes and break in controls and implement corrective

action to prevent re
- occurrence across TPT
- Monitor and track action plans to ensure resolution within due dates specified.
- Proactively engage with Regional and Functional PFMA Champions to identify any PFMA challenges and to ensure controls

are in place to
- reduce PFMA violations across TPT.
- Design and develop analytical dashboards (CCM, Power BI, SAP reports) to proactively identify transactions across SAP

that do not comply
- with the relevant processes and could be in contravention of PFMA.
- Engage with Group Loss Control Office to determine reviews and audits that need to be completed at TPT to provide

assurance on PFMA
- compliance.
- Evaluate best practice and benchmarking reviews and audits to ensure TPT is able to evolve and gain from such best

practices to manage
- assurance on PFMA compliance.
- Attend to and drive actions from the Group Governance, risk & Control to ensure PFMA risks is proactively identified and

mitigated across
- TPT.

PFMA Determination Testing
- Conduct PFMA determination testing for purposes of both reporting on PFMA items, instituting consequence management

for transgressions, and to inform the condonation process.
- The testing and determination of the root cause to be in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Reporting
- Develop month, quarterly and year-end PFMA reporting processes and reports to ensure timeous identification and

reporting of PFMA violations.
- Manage the recording, reporting, monitoring and reconciliation of PFMA findings and reportable items ensuring accuracy,

completeness and reliability of the PFMA register.
