Supply Chain Analyst

PURPOSE

To analyse the Belgotex Supply Chain to determine how materials are moved locally and internationally, both inbound to the business or outbound to customers. Use data to build informational dashboards that allow supply chain management to make informed decisions. Plan the national and global logistics network design to optimise service delivery and lower costs.

**SPAN OF CONTROL**

This role is responsible for the data analytics and related processes pertaining to Belgotex SA Inbound and Outbound Supply Chain.

QUALIFICATIONS

Grade 12 with mathematics or literacy
- Bachelors/Honors degree in Supply Chain Management or similar.

CLTD (Logistics and Transportation and Distribution) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification is preferable.
- Proficiency on Dynamics D365 is advantageous. Experience on similar ERP’s is essential.
- Experience in SQL / PowerBI / Cognos / Qlikview or other Analysis tools is preferred.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & OUTPUTS
- Build models to calculate expected international and local transport costs and compare actual spend.
- Design a local transport network that optimises customer service and cost to serve:

- Identify routes, vehicles and transporting methods to deliver goods to customers in a manner that reduces transport cost and transit time and allows efficient delivery at customer site.
- Identify where goods should be placed nationally and internationally and associated warehousing arrangements to maintain service level targets at the lowest cost.
- Determine strategies to deal with all inbound volumes, compromising elements such as

- Execute projects to rapidly deploy small and medium size changes to the supply chain.
