Staff Management:

- Duties
- Operations
- Time keeping
- Health and safety
- Ensure all picker targets are managed and met

Receiving:

- Receiving; checking; scanning and allocation of incoming stock
- Ensure stock is transferred in on systems and transfer warehouses are cleared
- Documentation to be scanned; captured and mailed to the relevant parties

Consumables:

- On time Ordering of consumables
- Maintaining stock levels of all consumables for warehouse use
- Controlled issuing of consumables to prevent abuse
- Gloves; pens; toilet paper; ribbon; invoice labels; envelopes; pack lables; boxes; pallet wrap; masks; paper; ribbon; racking pallets; picking pallets; wigly wurms; box tape; soap; sanitizer; rags.

Orders:

- Scheduling of orders in Qwix - priority driven
- Checking queried stock to Syspro availability
- Compiling RDC documentation for picking
- Compiling of transfers; ensuring transfers are loaded into the system for picking
- Record daily litres

Outbound:

- Daily Syspro checks for outbound stock to KZN; as well as inter warehouse transfers
- Waybill request / allocation for requested marketing or orders outbound stock
- Compiling trip sheets for all outbound stock
- Checking and Scanning of outbound stock to the relevant transfer warehouses
- Documentation to be scanned; captured and mailed to the relevant parties

Scanner maintenance:

- Resolving all picker scanner issues
- Loading of software for scanners
- Scheduling scanners for repair when required

Machine maintenance:

- Ensure daily checks are completed
- Ensure services are done
- Report any faults or damage for repair to maintenance immediately

Housekeeping:

- Ensure that housekeeping is always to acceptable standards and floors are washed.

Stock Management:
Stock rotation and FIFO

Investigate stock shortages

Stock take and cycle counts to be conducted; including pallets

Returns:

- Ensure returned stock is checked daily and compared to documentation, before signing off
- Ensure Return / Invoice numbers are captured and documentation handed over to relevant departments
- Ensure dump / rework stock is segregated before moving to the factory
- Ensure any stock for decanting is recorded immediately and added to the decanter’s order list

Decanting:

- Ensure decanting is done daily
- Ensure decanter orders required materials daily to avoid build up
- Scan and send order sheets to the relevant parties

**Inherent Requirements**

It is ESSENTIAL that this person has:

- No less than 4 years prior experience as a warehouse manager (Contactable references required)
- Excellent management skills
- Advanced Excel skills (Needs to be tested and verified)
- WMS operating system experience
- Qwix operating system experience
- Syspro operating system experience
- Own transport
- Able to conform to company required operating hours
