**Product Manager Filler Material**

**What you will enjoy doing**
- As the Product Manager, you will monitor and evaluate competitor products in the market and develop counter competitive proposals and manage projects to develop new products, starting from writing the specifications, negotiations with all parties involved to establish a project plan, managing the project, evaluating the performance of the product and signing the project off
- You will develop and build the training program and material for products, ensuring training of regional teams and representatives and train regional representatives on the product by arranging product training days in regions
- You are the key player in managing the process to design, approve, print and distribute marketing plus technical material for products and this includes all media, e.g. hardcopy, Internet and drive the development of promotions and advertisements for the products in support of the Commercial and Marketing Manager
- Proactively decide on stock levels (support the Demand Manager) and purchases to be made in conjunction with purchasing for all bought in items and regularly review the availability of product when required by customers and interact with the supply chain to ensure acceptable product availability
- You analyze sales of products on a monthly basis to identify sales patterns items by branch and establish reasons why products are selling well or not selling in a branch and build proposals to enhance the marketing strategy
- Furthermore, you propose a selling price to the Marketing Manager taking competitors into consideration and monitor actual prices charged to customers on a regular basis and propose action plans to the marketing manager

**What makes you great**
- You possess a B Comm Degree or any tertiary qualification, preferably in Marketing or Commerce, and you have at least 3 - 5 years relevant experience in industrial marketing or consumer marketing, in depth knowledge of products
- You have a knowledge of the welding industry, as well as a thorough knowledge Afrox and a thorough understanding of Marketing and product management
- You have understanding of Product Life cycles, industry, Afrox organization, systems knowledge
