Business Manager: Strategy and Analysis

Who are we?
You will analyse existing business strategies and practices and provide recommendations for improvements. The role also focuses on strategic and operational issues and decisions to enable the business to deliver its strategic objectives. The role further provides day to day support to the CEO in organising, establishing, and refining the day-to-day operations within the business What will make you successful in this role?
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Honours in Finance/Business Management or equivalent
Master’s Degree (Advantageous)
3 - 6 years’ experience in similar role
Background experience in Finance/Strategy/Insurance (Advantageous)
In depth understanding of designing business models
Risk Management
Experience in Research and Data Analytics Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to operationalise the strategic pillars to execute the objectives and strategy
Identify areas for improvement across the business and develop business cases for change
Create operational strategies to guarantee effective utilisation of corporate resources while attaining business objectives
Utilise indicators like revenue growth, customer happiness, and employee retention rates to evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies
Measure MiWay’s performance monthly
Prepare, monitor and control business strategy budget
Conduct ad-hoc research projects in support of the development and growth of MiWay
Drive analysis and design business models linked to the strategy
Identify issues that could hinder MiWay’s capacity to accomplish its objectives and offer risk-reduction strategies
Developing and implementing plans to improve employee productivity and morale
Conducting market research
Creating a plan for the organisation, including long-term and short-term goals
Conducting research on new technologies that could have a significant impact on the organisation’s operations
Keeping updated with technologies and customer behaviours
