You will be working as Project Quality Control Specialist, reporting to Hoisting Operations Manager for Process Automation area, Process Industries division based in Modderfontein, South Africa. You will be responsible for leading quality control and expediting efforts for all project phases. Ensuring that all manufactured equipment meets all the requirements.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Performing field inspections of fitting, welding, painting, electrical and instrumentation in accordance with project specifications and scope of work as noted within the Project Quality Plan
- Appraising product quality in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan and determine conformity and non-conformity
- Verifying the specification of the materials used in the construction, confirming the traceability number
- Verifying engineering specification for any given assembly / subassembly and detail part
- Initiating and following up of nonconformance as required and complying to relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
- Arranging and monitoring packing of equipment for shipment to customers
- Assisting the Project Manager and logistics team with arranging shipping documentation and shipping arrangements

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical drawings
- Knowledge in measuring equipment and ready drawings
- Should be flexible to travel
- Should have good communications and presentation skills
