Bookkeeper (Half-day)

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Bookkeeper (Half-day). The role is based in Parow Industria.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Tertiary qualification in related field (advantageous)
- Extensive experience in bookkeeping up to trial balance
- Proficiency in Pastel
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update the company's financial records and transactions
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Daily invoicing and collections
- Weekly wages for ±60 employees
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis
- Conduct regular audits of financial processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and bcompliance
- Respond to financial inquiries and provide support to management as needed
- Processing of VAT returns and e-filing
